It took a few listens to really get into this album and now I think it might be the best thing ever. It’s sonically fascinating, and once you get in the zone (headphones!) the songs speak directly to your heart. <3 Beanie Ben ✨

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

My favorite album, of all time -- when I saw them at the Wonder Ballroom with Cayetana and Snail Mail, it was magical.
She's got the female/male aspects of the psyche down pat -- it is healing.
It's up there with "2001" and "Gravity's Rainbow" -- I'm not kidding.
Really!
"I bet you think this song is about you ... don't you?"
Ha!
I've bought this album 100,000 times, and would buy it 100,000 times MORE ... hand it out to KIDS on the sidewalk: "Grow! ... GROW!"
